In recent years, the Joint Commission of Taiwan has included HACCP and ISO22000 in the
evaluation criteria for kitchens attached to teaching hospitals. In 2023, this requirement was expanded to regional hospitals. Additionally, on May 9, 2014, the Ministry of Health and Welfare issued regulations stating that food services in international tourist hotels must comply with the "Guidelines for Food Safety Control Systems."
